Loukas G. Katsonis, 59, is an International Relations expert, head of the Steering Committee of Foreign Affairs Institute since 2019. He is the publisher of Policy Journal, and was publishing Foreign Affairs The Hellenic Edition magazine from 2011 until 2023. He holds a master’s degree in Geopolitical Analysis and Geostrategic Synthesis from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has also studied economics.
He has worked as a journalist from 1982 to 2011. He held executive positions in the Greek newspapers “Ependitis”, “Imerisia” and “Kathimerini”. He was the director of the newspaper “Macedonia” from 2002 to 2005.
He is vice-president of the Pan-Hellenic Association of Friends of the Armed Forces (PEFED), member of AHEPA (American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association), and Athens Club.
